I am a cybersecurity professional with a BSc in Cybersecurity and hands-on experience in network security, vulnerability assessment, system hardening, security operations, and cybersecurity research. I have practical experience working across Windows and Linux environments, including network monitoring, vulnerability assessment, log analysis, threat hunting, and the use of security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, OpenVAS, Metasploit, Shodan, and Censys.
I hold a CCNA certification and have completed the Blue Team Junior Analyst and PowerShell for Security Operations programs through Security Blue Team. I am also continuing to build on this foundation through the CompTIA Security+ and Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate programs.
My practical experience includes cybersecurity internship work involving vulnerability assessments, Windows and Linux hardening, network security configuration, and security monitoring. I also enjoy building hands-on security projects, including PhishGuard, an open-source phishing detection and awareness platform designed for SMEs and academic institutions across Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.
I am particularly interested in Security Operations, Incident Response, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Threat Intelligence, and cybersecurity risk and compliance. I am also exploring the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, particularly how AI can be applied to security operations, automation, threat detection, and broader business challenges.
Beyond cybersecurity, I have contributed to technology and Web3 initiatives, including security and compliance considerations around real-world asset tokenization and digital financial infrastructure. I am currently completing my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) while continuing to build practical projects, develop my technical skills, and gain industry experience.
I approach cybersecurity with curiosity and a strong willingness to learn. My goal extends beyond simply understanding security tools — I aim to understand the problems they solve, and to apply that understanding toward building practical solutions that make systems, organizations, and people more secure.
