Oilden Energies Limited is seeking an aggressive, result-oriented, and strategic Business Development Executive to drive the commercial expansion of our flagship automotive and industrial lubricants. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, securing high-value corporate accounts, managing B2B distributor networks, and expanding our market share across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales growth in the downstream oil and gas, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of active sales/business development experience, specifically within the lubricants, downstream oil & gas, or industrial chemical sectors in Nigeria.
Network: A pre-existing network of distributors, major mechanic associations, or industrial procurement managers in Lagos/South-West is highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, with an established professional network considered an advantage.
Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, corporate presentation, and strategic closing skills.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel frequently for client site visits and field market activations.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for pipeline tracking.
Market Expansion: Identify and secure new business opportunities among commercial transport fleets, manufacturing plants, construction firms, and auto-mechanic clusters.
Distributor Management: Recruit, onboard, and manage large-scale regional distributors and retail wholesalers to ensure widespread product availability.
B2B Key Account Management: Build and maintain long-term corporate relationships with industrial buyers, procurement managers, and logistics companies.
Sales Pipelines: Manage the complete sales cycle from cold calling, pitching, and proposal submission to price negotiation and closing deals.
Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze competitor data, market trends, and pricing structures to feedback to the executive leadership team.
Revenue Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial sales volume targets for the Epe blending plant products.
Salary: Competitive base pay (negotiable based on industry experience).
Performance Bonus: Attractive commissions and volume-based performance bonuses.
Healthcare: Comprehensive HMO coverage.
Mobility Support: Transport allowance or official vehicle access for client visitations.
