The Job:
To oversee and
manage all facets of the recreational club to ensure vibrant and engaging
experience for client’s Club Members. The ideal candidate will have a fervent
passion for crafting exceptional recreational facilities and programs,
bolstered by robust leadership skills.
The
duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Report
functionally to the Club President and conduct any special assignments
requested by the Club President or RCEC.
· Report
administratively to the Contract Holder, and in addition, ensure the submission
of the RA Club Weekly Activities Tracker Report to the RA Club Leadership.
·
Manage
the day-to-day operations of the recreational club, including supervising
staff, scheduling activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities
·
Develop
and sustain an effective team culture, prepare shift coverage schedules, and
assess daily activities of the club.
·
Develop
and oversee the recreational club budget, ensuring resources are used
efficiently and in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
·
Conduct
facility management duties, which include ensuring the maintenance, repairs,
and upgrades of recreational facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean,
well-maintained, and welcoming for client’s Club Members.
·
Work in
collaboration with relevant stakeholders to plan, organize, supervise, and
coordinate recreational activities.
·
Manage
HR-related responsibilities for club staff, including recruitment, training,
performance evaluation, and scheduling.
·
Foster a
positive and inclusive environment that encourages employee engagement and participation
in recreational activities.
·
Supervise
the activities of the club contractors to ensure they work within the ambit of
the contract provisions, while ensuring that submitted quotations are in line
with budgetary provisions.
· Raise call-offs and process Contractor invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.· Monitor contract ceilings to ensure budgets and ceilings are not overspent
·
Supervise the activities of the Club
Contractor and its personnel.
· Implement and
uphold safety measures and regulations to ensure the well-being of client’s
Club Members.
· Maintain an
inventory of all club equipment and supplies and ensure all club and company
programs are implemented according to policy
Address grievances from both staff and club members promptly and effectively
The
right candidate should possess:
Education
A university
degree (minimum second class lower) or Higher National Diploma (minimum Upper
Credit) in Business Administration,
Management, Hospitality and other related disciplines. Relevant certification required for the job
would be an added advantage.
